How to setup a Synology NAS Part 28: Creating a share to backup files stored on computers to our NAS

In this video we take a look at creating a network share on our Synology NAS, that will allow us to store back ups of the files that have been stored on computers connected to our network.

This is done by using the backup utilities built into macOS and Windows 10. So we also take a quick look at how we configure macOS and Windows 10, so that they both can connect to our network share and automatically backup files.

In this video we look at configuring Time Machine for macOS and File History for Windows 10. Please note that File History for Windows 10 is a very simple backup utility and may not be suitable for everyones needs.
