In this video we look at accessing Safe Mode on a Playstation 4. Safe Mode allows you to start your console, but with only its most basic functions. This is so that you can fix issues that prevent your PS4 from starting normally.
As our console is reporting issues with the PS4 database we are going to try rebuilding the database. The database is used to index the games on your console, your friends, trophies and gamer stats.
The rebuild process will not delete any data. However, as we mention in the video we recommend that you make a backup before you start the rebuild.
