- First place your Apple AirPods into Pair mode
 
- This is done by pressing and holding down the Pair button on the charging case, until the indicator light on the charging case flashes white. 
 
- Now from macOS if you open System Settings and from the side bar choose Bluetooth
 
- Under Nearby Devices you will find listed your AirPods
 
Note: If you do not use Siri on your computer, you will be prompted to enable it. However as Siri is not a requirement in order to use your AirPods. If you select Cancel, your AirPods will pair to your computer without Siri being enabled.
- Your AirPods will now pair with your computer 
 
Note: While you should find that audio is transferred to your AirPods when you place them in your ear. If you have paired your AirPods to multiple devices in close proximity to each other. You may have to manually instruct your computer to play audio to your AirPods. You can do this in the following way:
- Open System Settings, then from the sidebar choose Control Centre
 
- Under Control Centre Modules locate Bluetooth and set it to Show in Menu bar
 
- Now locate Sound and also set the to Show in Menu bar
 
- You will find two new icons in the menu bar
 
- Use the Bluetooth icon to manage your AirPods if you have connection issues 
 
- Use the Sound icon to manually manage if audio is produced from your AirPods or your computer
