While you probably have already paired your Apple AirPods to your iPhone. You can also pair them with a computer running Windows 11. So in this video we demonstrate the process for pairing your Apple AirPods to Windows.
Notes: In order to pair your AirPods to Windows you will have to place them into pair mode. However, it should be noted that your Apple AirPods are able to pair to multiple devices without loosing any existing parings.
- First place your Apple AirPods into Pair mode
- This is done by pressing and holding down the Pair button on the charging case, until the indicator light on the charging case flashes white.
- Now from Windows 11 if you open Settings – Bluetooth and devices
- From within the Bluetooth and devices panel choose Add a Device
- A wizard will open, choose Bluetooth
- Windows will now find and list your AirPods
- Select them from the list to pair them with Windows
Note: While you should find that audio is transferred to your AirPods when you place them in your ear. If you have paired your AirPods to multiple devices in close proximity to each other. You may have to manually instruct your computer to play audio to your AirPods. You can do this in the following way:
- If you choose Connect, audio from your PC will play from your AirPods
- From within Windows open Settings – Bluetooth and devices
- You will find your AirPods listed
- In the right hand corner for the AirPods is a More options (…) button
- By selecting the More options (…) button, you will see two options.
