In this video we take a look at the process for resetting the Nintendo Switch back to factory defaults, but without losing your Gaming data.
Save Data, screen shots and user information are not deleted, but software data on micro SD will become unusable. Software and DLC stored on the console will need to be re-downloaded and the version of the system software will not change.
Please note that at the time of posting, Nintendo does not offer a way to backup data stored on the Nintendo Switch.
