Issue:
If you need to step away from your Apple Macintosh computer you should password lock the computer. This is so that no-one can access your work unless they have your user password.
Resolution:
Pressing Shift + Control + Power or if you are using an older keyboard Shift + Control + Eject will lock an Apple Macintosh computer. This displays the lock screen which prompting you to enter your user account password.
