Upgrading the internal hard drive on your PS4, PS4 Slim or PS4 Pro is a relatively simple process, but if you don’t fancy this hassle, but want to expand the storage of your console. Sony introduced in the 4.5 update the ability to connect a USB 3 external hard drive to extend your consoles storage.
In this video we look at how you extend the Ps4 internal storage and demonstrate how you transfer games to the USB drive. For this project you will need a USB 3 external hard drive which is compatible for usage as extended storage. We have provided a couple of suggestions below.
