How to group tabs in Google Chrome browser

If you like to have multiple tabs open when using Chrome browser, it can be useful to group your tabs together. Not only will this de-clutter your browser, it should make working with different data easier. So in this video, we review how you use Group tabs.

Quick reference notes:

  • Right click on a tab in Chrome
  • From the drop down menu choose Add tab to new group
  • Give your group a name
  • Choose a colour for your group

Note: From within the Group menu, you can also “ungroup”, “close group” or “move group to a new window”. However it is also possible to replicate these functions using the mouse pointer, to drag and drop your tabs into or out of a group.
