In a previous video we took a look at the Microsoft Excel function TRANSPOSE. Which is a function at allows you to re-orientate your data into columns or rows. However as we are using Office 2024, we recently found two new functions called WRAPROWS and WRAPCOLS that allow you to do the same thing. So in this video we take a quick look at this new function.
Note: As this function was introduced with Excel 2024. Its not a function that is backwardly compatible with older versions of Excel.
The syntax for the WRAPROWS function is as follows:
=WRAPROWS(cell_range,column_count)
With an example of the WRAPROWS formula being:
=WRAPROWS(A1:A10,2)
Note: In the example the number used to define the column count is set to 2. So the result will be displayed as two rows.
The syntax for the WRAPCOLS function is as follows:
=WRAPCOLS(cell_range,column_count)
With an example of the WRAPCOLS formula being:
=WRAPCOLS(A1:A10,2)
Note: In the example the number used to define the column count is set to 2. So the result will be displayed as two columns.
